At Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School and St Joseph’s Catholic School we value all input from parents and others. The feedback we obtain, including both positives and negatives, helps us to make continuous improvements to the way the school operates as we strive to provide the best possible educational environment for your child.
We would also like your views about the content of our SEN Information Report. If you would like to comment please complete the online form in the Contact Us section of our website.
Compliments are always greatly received and can be passed on either directly to staff and the SENCO, or formally recorded via our regular questionnaires to parents or in the form of a letter to the Head Teacher. These positive comments will be published on this area of our school website.
We hope that complaints about our SEND provision will be rare, however, if there should be a concern the process outlined in the school Complaints Policy should be followed.
We take any complaints very seriously. Once made complaints will be investigated promptly and thoroughly. Some minor complaints may be dealt with informally through discussion, but more serious matters will be dealt with on a more formal footing. You will be kept fully informed as the matter progresses.
If parents wish to make a complaint or raise any issue regarding the school, you should contact Mrs Keenan (Head Teacher), Mrs Yates (Deputy Head Teacher & SENDCO, OLQM) or Mrs Curtis (Deputy Head Teacher & SENDCO, STJ).
Parents should contact Mrs Yates, Mrs Curtis or Mrs Keenan with any concerns they may have regarding the roles and responsibilities of the Local Authority. Mrs Keenan will then liaise directly with the Authority. Further information can be found in our School Complaints Policy which can be found in our School Policies section of our website.
If you would like to discuss your SEND requirements in detail please contact the school to arrange an appointment.
